Song of the Week

Hello lovely people!

The song I chose for this week is Flawless by Beyonce' or shall I say King Bey! When her album was released out of the blue the Beyhive and the rest of the world went crazy. If you use any type of social networks, or even watch the news I'm sure you saw more than a few people talking about it or articles sharing in the craziness. My roommate literally danced around the room when she bought the album.

I love this song because she mixed Bow Down, which I thought was going to be a single by itself, and made it a whole new song. The song features a segment from author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Tedxtalk. This segment and the song in itself tells a power story of empowerment for women.

We live in a society where women are constantly told we're not pretty enough, that we're not living up to society's standard of a woman. The word flawless isn't even thrown around for celebrities. Critics always find something to pick at.

This song let's girls know that they wake up flawless. That the are perfect the way they are and should not let society sway how they see themselves and limit their ambitions.

Also, the bass and groove in this song makes me want to dance and just get down.

What's your favorite song from Beyonce's new album?

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

There's just two days left until Christmas! It's my favorite holiday by far!

It's the time of year where people gather to share in the joy of good food and a good time with friends and family. I know that this is not possible for everyone, and my heart goes out to those who might not have that option available.

I just want to say Merry Christmas to all my readers and a very happy New Year. May you have all the happiness you desire and find some also deals and sales out there. Be safe with everyone running around trying to get last minute presents and traveling to visit family.

Song of the Week

This week's song of the week is Stay The Night by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore. Thanks to two of my friends from home this song is stuck in my head. This is a nice follow up for Zedd after Clarity. I'm in love with Hayley's voice. I'm so excited to see Paramore in November. I usually don't like a video as much as I like a song but this time that wasn't the case. I love dance, so the choreography in this video was everything for me. Everything was beautifully shot and the effects fit the video What was your favorite song this week? Any music recommendations for me?

She Lives!

Hey gals & guys! I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. This semester has been keeping me busy. Just wanted to give you a little update on my life and let you know that I will be posting more consistently.
Moved Into My Apartment
This year is my first year living off campus! I moved into my apartment and everything has been going well. It took my mom and I four hours to build my bed, which we got from IKEA.( I LOVE IKEA!) I'll show you pictures of my decorating in a later post. I live with two friends and it's been nice so far. I'm slowly improving my cooking skills too. Thankfully, I have a commuter meal plan since I have two night classes that require me to be on campus pretty much all day.
Major Classes
This semester I'm taking three 400 level classes for my major and one 300 level, along with my last Gen. Ed. class. Junior year is no joke. Since I live of campus I'm always in the library between classes doing work or just wasting time. For example, last week I sat with my friend in the computer lab and watched the latest Legend of Korra episode. My Mass Media Graphics class is more fun than serious but it's still a lot of work. Photoshop and InDesign are tricky programs, especially since I'm a beginner.
Softball
If I haven't told you guys yet I play on the club softball team at my school. We started practicing maybe third week into the semester because our games started so early this year. Since I'm on the exec board I have to attend meetings too. We won our first games against Loyola's club team 14-1 and 21-9. My October will be jam-packed will games.

Stay on the lookout for my next post! Thanks for reading lovely people and enjoy your Friday night!

Song of the Week

Hello lovely people. Here's another look at the music I love! My two songs for this week are Ain't It Fun by Paramore and Harlem by New Politics.
I've been fan of Paramore for a long time. People always complain about bands and artist changing their sound but in my mind that's apart of being in the music industry. Styles and the vibe of every album is never going to be the same. Paramore is still the same Paramore to me even with their new self-titled album. Jeremy, Hayley, and Taylor are the perfect trio in my eyes. Check out Ain't It Fun and the rest of their album which includes Part II, which is what it sounds like; a continuation of We Are Broken from their 2007 album RIOT!. The album also features Still Into You, which you've probably heard on the radio or Pandora.

My second song is Harlem by New Politics. I first heard this song on Pandora and it had me dancing around my room in a dance party of one. I love the fun beat. I'm not too familiar with New Politics but this song makes me want to hear some of their other music.

I'm sure Hip Hop fans have been listening to Control by Big Sean to hear Kendrick Lamar's verse that mentioned a number of rappers including Big Sean himself, Drake, Wale, and A.S.A.P Rocky. Everyone's on the lookout for response tracks. Some are coming out from rappers who weren't even mentioned in the song. The gifs and memes that have been coming out are hilarious too. Don't judge me solely on my picks for songs of the week! I do listen to rap just not as much as other genres. Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend.

The Lady in Red & Print

Here's the outfit I wore yesterday!
Red shirt-Thrift Store | Black&White-Forever21 | Collar necklace- Forever21

It's the first of the month! Are you already stocking up on school supplies and the fall fashions you want to rock? Let me know what fall trend you're excited to try. Love you guys!

Songs of the Week

Hey lovely people! This week I'm going to share the songs that have been stuck in my head last week and this week. First up is Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. I know the song isn't new because it's from the Great Gatsby Soundtrack, but it's been growing on me. I'm not a huge Lana Del Rey fan but I like this song.

My next pick is Without Me by Fantasia featuring Kelly Rowland and Missy Elliott. This song is a huge comeback for Fantasia. It's been a while since any of her music has really made it big. Came across this song when the video(Below) came out on VEVO. The ladies killed this song. I've been jamming to this for two weeks now.

Here's the video!

My last pick for this week is Holy Grail by Jay-Z featuring Justin Timberlake. These two have done it once again but in reverse. I find myself continuously singing Justin's part of the song even when I'm not thinking about it. The song is off of Jay's new album Magana Carter Holy Grail so you know the title song had to be hot and Jay did not disappoint.

That's all folks! Let me know what you think of these songs and what you've been listening to on repeat this week.

My Fourth of July

Happy Friday!!!
I'm hoping everyone had an awesome Independence Day! I need to get back to exercising after all the food I had yesterday. Instead of going to the National Mall to see fireworks my friends and I ended up at the Annapolis Harbor. There were so many people! Luckily, we found a good spot right on the bridge over the water. People we sitting out in the water on boats watching the fireworks too! Here's my outfit from yesterday.
And here's me and my best friend! Follow me on Instagram at kirabegera4 and on tumblr at karebearkhaos.tumblr.com. Thanks lovelies! Have an awesome Friday !

OOTD

Happy Fourth of July! I hope you all are enjoying your day. I've have had amazing food so far! I'm heading into the city to see fireworks on the National Mall later. Here's my outfit from yesterday.

The King of Pop

Four years ago today the world lost a music icon. The King Pop still inspires artists with his music and his unforgettable dance moves. Michael had fans of every age who will keep his legacy alive. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Jackson family as they continue to deal with the trial and the well being of his children. I can't wait to introduce my future children to his music. Here's a playlist I put together. Enjoy!

Song of the Week

Music lovers rejoice! So many albums came out from some great artist like Kelly Rowland, J.Cole, Mac Miller, and Kanye West. I suggest checking out these albums if you haven't already. My songs of the week are Dirty Laundry by Kelly Rowland and Crooked Smile by J.Cole featuring TLC.
Miss Rowland went deep with this song. She really aired out all her emotions and "dirty laundry". Kelly talks about dark times where Beyonce' was doing well for herself on stage while Kelly was struggling with an abusive relationship.

My next pick is Crooked Smile. This song features Chili and T.Boz of TLC. The song is real and talks about loving yourself no matter what you look like and other issues. This song is accompanied by some amazing songs on Cole's album Born Sinner.

OTD: Coral Remix

Cheers to weekend! On Thursday I met my boss and the other summer interns from my internship for the first time in person. I wanted to look nice but also casual.

OTD: X2

Here are the outfits I wore this weekend. I didn't really have time to post along with the combination of internet issues.

Outfit #1
I wore this first outfit to my community day. I finally got the funnel cake I've been craving since the weather warmed up. I avoided the moon bounces though because I'm probably too old for that. Then I went to my neighbor's graduation cookout. The picture isn't the best quality because it was taken with a cellphone.
Tribal top - Forever 21 | Shorts- Thrift Store (Added the pocket studs myself) | Shoes- Classic Black Vans-Vans Store
Outfit #2
I wore this outfit yesterday out to dinner with my family. We took my grandfather out to dinner.

OTD: Lace & Burgundy

Hello all! I hope everyone enjoyed Father's Day. To all the dads out there and to the men who stepped in and acted like a father. My dad has always been a big part of my life no matter the miles between us. Luckily he had no impact on my style because that would be just terrible! Haha. Here's my outfit from this past Friday. I was trying to post this and my outfit from Father's Day yesterday but my internet was being foolish!
Lace Button Down Top - Forever 21 | Burgundy Skinny Pants -H&M | Wedge Sandals - Unknown  (LOL) | Diamond Drop Earrings - Forever 21

Song of the Week

Summer, summer, summer time! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far. The weather today is beautiful!  My song of the week is Latch by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith. I was flipping through the channels one day and saw this video on MTV U. I've been addicted ever since. I has a very chill vibe but it still makes me want to dance. Take a listen and let me know what you think! Check out Disclosure's new album Settle on Spotify

Happy Friday!

Me day before yesterday
TGIF! I know I'm not the only one happy that today is Friday. Fridays and Saturdays are my favorite days of the week. I just wanted to give you all an update on what's been going on with me. Currently, I'm interning at a PR agency called TLAPR. Please look us up and follow on Twitter and "like" the company page on Facebook. I manage their social media during my shift. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm really happy that I have this opportunity.

In other news, my roommates have moved into our apartment near school. They both have jobs up near campus and one is taking a summer class. I'm home for the summer for this internship and I'm also hoping to find a paying job as well. Plus, I still need to go to driving school.

I'm very proud and happy to say that my neighbors who are pretty much my little brother and sister have graduated high school. I definitely teared up watching them get their diplomas. They also swagged it out a few weeks ago for their prom. One is going to Howard on full-scholarship to play basketball. It's crazy because I remember when we were all younger and my brother and his friends were teaching him how to play basketball. My little sister will be attending the same college as me!

As for my lack of outfit of the day posts...I haven't really gone anywhere lately worthy of dressing up. Yes, I've gone to see my friends off to prom and too the movies but I didn't put too much effort into those outfits. Lol. Other than that I've been in the house working, scrolling down Tumblr, and watching Sherlock (awesome show!). When I do get decently dressed up, I promise you will see it. Also, I've finally upgraded to an Iphone and created an Instagram. You can follow me at kirabegera4.

Well that's all! Enjoy the rest of your Friday and your weekend!

Song of the Week

Hello lovelies! My songs for this week are I Need Your Love by Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding and King For A Day by Pierce the Veil featuring Kellin Quinn. Calvin Harris does it again with a dance beat that follows the trend with electronic dance music (EDM). EDM has been taking over the airwaves and is even being used by singers in other genres like Ne-yo and Chris Brown. Ellie Goulding has a unique voice that I love.
I went to see Pierce the Veil (PTV)in concert in April at the Spring Fever tour and I loved them. I was mostly there to see All Time Low but I really got into PTV. I had heard a few of their songs before hand but they were so good live that I had to listen to more of their music. Kellin Quinn has a distinct voice in this song as he does in every song he sings as the lead singer of the band Sleeping With Sirens. SWS released their new album "Feel" on June 4th. Visit Itunes or your closest retailer to grab it!

Song of the Week

Just to make up for my lack of posting my favorite songs I'm going to give you three! My first song for this week is A Litte Party Never Killed Nobody from The Great Gatsby Soundtrack. The song features Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, Q-Tip and GoonRock. The song has a fun beat that had me hooked from the first listen. This song really makes you want to dance until you drop. That may be just me because I love to dance so much.

My second pick for this week is Get Lucky by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams. I've always been a fan of Daft Punk. My brother is an even bigger fan than me. He's been blasting their new album Random Access Memories every time he gets in the car. I had the pleasure of joining in on a trip to the mall and from then on the song was stuck in my head.

And last but not least, my third pick for this week is Treasure by Bruno Mars. I love this man and his music. He just has a swagger that I love. He's always releasing songs that have me belting the lyrics whenever I get the chance. He performed Treasure at the Billboard Music Awards not to long ago and his performance was entertaining. The song has a bit of disco feel that makes you want to dance. I'm a fan of funk music so this one hit the target. I hoping to get tickets to see him when he comes to D.C. next month.

And So It Begins

This just so happens to be my first complete week home from school. I can't believe another year has gone by and I am an up and coming junior in college. High school seems so far away but at the same time still close. This may be caused by continued friendships and social media where I can see what everyone is saying and doing.

So many people go into their summers vowing that this one will be better than the last or the best one yet. For the most part your summer is what you make of it.

  • If you want to go to the beach, go. Plan the trip with friends and even family and make it happen.
  • Want to read the latest book you haven't had time to pick up? Visit the nearest bookstore, find the perfect reading spot and get lost. Get one of the many Best Seller's List and take your pick.
  • Have been telling yourself that you're going to work out and get in shape? Have you been procrastinating? If your answer is yes it's time for you to get up off of the couch and hit the gym. Can't make it to the gym? Use what you have at home. Put on some music and dance! It burns calories and if you're doing it right you can even tone your body. What do think Zumba is?
Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned. And when that happens go with the flow! Don't stress. Come up with an alternative plan. You never know it could turn out better than you expected. On that note, get off the computer and go enjoy your summer!

OTD: Coral & Print

Blazer-  Nordstrom's Rack | Cami- Kohl's | Pants- Forever21 | Sandals- Payless

The end of this semester has been keeping me crazy busy. I'm a little late with this but here it is! I attended a luncheon with university staff and donors for my school's scholarship organization. I was lucky enough to get a scholarship for last semester. The food was amazing and the students who spoke were very inspirational. Every part of this outfit was worn for the first time on this day. I loved getting to wear this blazer because it just popped. Thanks to my roommate for letting me borrow her sandals because I broke my only pair that I had with me at school. The cloudy skies and rain today made me crave some color. Hoping things clear up soon.

OTD

Here's the outfit I wore yesterday. The weather was pretty nice here in Baltimore. I love spring because I can finally wear the bright colors I've been waiting to pull out of my closet. What's your favorite color to wear in the spring?

Song of the Week

Hello there ladies and gentlemen! My song of the week is The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. I have been a fan and avid follower of this band since the days of 'Sixteen Candles' and 'Dance, Dance'. They just released their new album after being on a hiatus since 2009, called "Save Rock and Roll". They song has some interesting collaborations with artist like rapper Big Sean and music legend Sir Elton John. It's nice to have the boys back. This song is the first track on the album. Haven't heard it yet? Take a listen.

OTD

Red blouse  & Black Skirt- Thift Store | Black socks- Target | My favorite boots- Target | Necklaces- Forever 21
I haven't posted an outfit of the day in a while because I've been dressing pretty lazy in sweatpants and athletic wear for softball for the past week of so. I finally had it in me to put some effort into an outfit.

Song of the Week

The song that I've had on repeat this week is As Your Friend by Afrojack featuring Chris Brown. I know everyone has their opinion on Chris Brown but I really like this song. It's a song that definitely gets you moving.Let me know what you think.

Sorry Everyone

No videos or pictures from Tigerfest because the event got rained out. I was really excited to go but the weather had other plans! I will be going to see All Time Low, Pierce the Veil  You Me at Six, and Mayday Parade next weekend, which will be indoors. I'm excited for that. Hopefully you've all had a great Saturday.

Wedge Sneakers. Love it or Hate it?

Wedge Sneakers

Over the past few months there have been in increase in the brands that carry the concealed wedge sneakers. They come in all different kinds of colors from metallic silver and neon blue to basic black and pretty much color and pattren in between. I've seen them featured in magazines like Teen Vogue and Seventeen and sold in high end retailers with brands like Isabel Marant to more economically friendly options at Target. At first I was a little on the fence about them until I took a trip to my local Kohl's over spring break last month.

I tried a few different pairs of wedge sneakers in different colors and realized that they didn't look that bad. I actually liked the look. I still don't own a pair but they've grown on me. What do you think about this trend? Would you wear wedge sneakers?

Tigerfest!

Ladies and gentlemen I have returned from the world of studying and being buried beneath piles of work! These past few days have been extremely busy, but what better way to take a break than Tigerfest. Here at Towson we have a huge yearly event called Tigerfest. There are all kinds of inflatable games, food, prizes, and music.

The biggest part of the day is the concert. Last year, rapper Kid Cudi performed. This year the concert is headlined by Wiz Khalifa, whose song "Black and Yellow", is basically Towson's theme songs because those are the university's colors. Other performers include Towson University own DJ Chase, Harmonic Blue, Breathe Carolina, and Super Mash Bros.

There's a beer garden for students who are 21 and over, but being realistic students can get their alcohol from other places. Hopefully this year will be more fun and drunken crowd surfers wouldn't be threatening to squish me and my friends who are all under the height of 5'6.  It should a good turn out, especially since Wiz Khalifa is pretty well known. I'm a fan of Breathe Caroline as well. Just over 1,600 people have R.S.V.P'ed on the event's Facebook page. The event is also open to none students, with tickets being sold at the gate.

I'm going to try my best to get good pictures and hopefully videos from the event! If you're in the Towson area and you're going let me know what you're most excited about for Tigerfest.

Celebrity Pregnancy Critics. Going to far?

Tabloids and the media seem to have an obsession with talking about celebrities' figures and weight but people seem to take things a step further when someone is pregnant. Pictures are all over news stands with headlines hoping to make a profit on gossip and opinion whether its tacky and insensitive or not.

The media has always made people second guess their appearance due to social standards set by advertisements and images in television shows and movies. Why make it worse during a very important time in a woman's life when her body is going through all kinds of changes, some just nature and out of her control. Things get out of hand when we start bashing a woman over the weight she has gained while pregnant. Here's just a few examples of what I consider craziness.

First, there's Jessica Simpson. Simpson along with other celebrities have been the target of bullying when it comes to weight. When she was pregnant with her first child, daughter Maxwell, the internet and tabloids were over flowing with comments about how big she was, some just being down right rude.

Pregnancy is different for everyone. Who's to say Jessica wasn't eating healthy and that the weight she gained wasn't needed to make sure her child was healthy? If you're not her doctor, her weight is none of your concern.

Next, we have Kim Kardashian. She's been in the headlines for a while with her ongoing divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries and her whirlwind of a romance with rapper Kanye West. The spotlight shined even brighter when the world found out that she and West were expecting their first child together. Kim has always been known for her fashion so I wasn't surprised when she didn't let the changes she is going through change her style.

In one photo she was compared to a whale by internet users because she was wearing black and white. Some people are even complaining that she isn't dressing like a pregnant woman. I think a woman has the right to dress however she wants when she is pregnant as long as she is comfortable and she can walk safely in her choice of shoe. Kardashian's image is based a lot around her outward appearance. Kim and her sister's Khloe and Kourtney run a store line called Dash and even have their brand sold at department stores like Sears. People can't be mad at her for not getting out the maternity jeans.

I understand that celebs lose some of their right to privacy by choosing their profession and living the way some do but I feel like things go to far when you start tearing people apart because of the way they look. You never know what's going on behind closed doors or what advice someone's doctor has given them.

So my advice would be don't participate in the celeb bashing whether someone is pregnant or not they don't deserve nasty comments.

Kid Cudi Splits with G.O.O.D. Music

According to Billboard.com and other sites like Rap-Up.com rapper Kid Cudi has parted ways with fellow rapper Kanye West's label G.O.O.D Music and his managers, Patrick "Plain Pat"Reynolds and Emile Haynie. It is said that the decision was made around six months but Cudi took some time to figure out how to broach the subject with West.
Kid Cudi (left) and Kanye West(right)

Cudi talked about the announcement not only on his Twitter but also during an appearance on Yesi Ortiz' radio show Power 106. This quote was taken from Rap-Up.com.

“[Kanye and I] were talking on the phone the other day and these are things I’ve been wanting to talk to him about,” Cudi said. “Me starting my own direction, and he got it because he’s trying to start his new path and try new things as an artist and he was just like, ‘Man, I feel you as an artist. It’s cool, whatever."

Before he spoke to Kanye West, Cudi spoke with West's managers Jay-Z and Don C. They gave him advice on how to approach the support and gave him their support in his decision. When he spoke about his own managers his had this to say,

"Pat and Emile are doing their own thing, i wish them well. I have a diff vision, for music, for the world. im just doing the right thing, i come from a different place. people lose sight of the mission. cant expect everyone to be built like me. when people have different visions, you gotta go your own way." (Quote from Billboard.com)

Cudi plans to start his own record label soon where he will mainly focus on his work with artist King Chip. Kid Cudi will release his next album Indicud on April 23rd. The song list for the album was revealed today.

Spring Break Boredom

No plans for spring break? I feel you. Last week was my spring break and I was too broke to get to the beach for the week and I didn't really have any other plans because my other friends don't have the same break as me and I was supposed to get my wisdom teeth out, didn't happen. So here's some ideas to get you through the week.

1. Do something you've had on your to-do list for a while

I've been repeatedly telling myself that I was going to do some writing for a story I've been working on. I just  haven't had the time to sit down and do it. Now that I'm home with time to kill I should definitely get to it. Have I done it yet? Nope. Will I do it? It's still up in the air. What have you been putting off because you haven't had time?

2. Read a book

There are plenty of books out there to be read. Head to the closest book store and pick up something none school related to read. Grab a book based on a recently made movie like Silver Linings Playbook or Perks of Being a Wallflower. You can even look up the best-seller list for an idea of what to get.

3. Catch up on your work out

I always make a resolution to work out more every year but by this time of the year I've fallen behind. Take all this free time and set out a schedule or plan for working out and start it. The main thing with this one is keeping it up after spring break is over.

Song of the Week

Here's the song that I had on replay this week. The song is "What About Us" by The Saturdays. This song is the U.K. based girl group's first U.S. single. I've heard a few of their other songs in the pass but this one stuck. The song was released in December of 2012 but wasn't high on the iTunes charts.Within the last two years there's been a boom in artist debuting in the U.S. Some are calling it the second "British invasion".

It started with Adele and her soulful balads, continued with boy bands One Direction and The Wanted, and One Direction's X-Factor season seven competitor Cher Lloyd. The British-Irish group has been appearing on a few late night shows and talk shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Wendy Williams Show since early 2013. The group stars in their own reality show on E! network called Chasing The Saturdays that airs Monday nights  at 8:30/7:30 central.

What do you think of the song? Is it something you'd blast in the car or jam to in the club?

Help a Girl Out

Hey everyone! A local radio station is holding a contest to win tickets to see One Direction this summer. I would greatly appreciate it if you went to this link and voted for me so I can win. Tickets have been sold out for a while and I really want to go. Thanks so much. The link is below.

OOTD

The weather today was so bipolar. It was colder than I was expecting but I managed. The leather jacket was given to me by a family friend so I'm not sure where it's from. I ended up in downtown Annapolis helping a younger friend of mine find a prom dress. Word of advice if you're going to that area of Annapolis be prepared to drive around for a while looking for parking or be ready to pay for the parking garage.

Song of the Week

My song this week has been Power Trip by rapper J.Cole featuring Miguel. I've always loved Miguel's vibe and his smooth voice. When I first here a song if I love it from the start the words are stuck in my head from the beginning. That's what happened with this song.

OOTN

Here's my first outfit of the night post. I've also included my roommate's outfit. One of my friends was celebrating her 20th birthday! We took my advice from my College Budget Birthdays post. We went to the Cheesecake Factory down the road from campus. I saved money by ordering just an appetizer and a slice of Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake (pictures below). The appetizer was surprisingly fulfilling and we all had a fun time.

Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake- One of the more expensive cheesecake options but it's my favorite!

What's your favorite type of cheesecake?

College Budget Birthdays

So I've celebrated two birthdays away from in college and they've been pretty awesome. When you're in college you don't have your mom to buy you a cake or pay for things. As I've come to realize I don't have the money to do everything I want. So here are a few ways that you can celebrate your birthday or a friends on a college budget.

 1. Stay In
I've realized that staying in can also be fun. So invite a couple of friends over, rent or borrow a movie or two, and just hang out. You can even bake your own cake. The ingredients aren't too expensive. You can even look up recipes for different treats to make.

 2. Just Dessert
Is there a Cheesecake Factory near by? If so, grab a few friends and head over just for dessert. You can grab a slice of cheesecake for as low as $3 and under 10.

3. Don't Spend a Dime
There are always events and things going on for free on and around a college campus. Just do a little searching and I'm sure you'll come up with something fun. Look in the school newspaper or ask around. You can also see what locations around your campus gives student discounts.

 4. Go Home
No judgement. Pack your bags and hit the road. There's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy the comfort of your own bed and some home cooking. If you can make it home, go ahead and do it. Spend time with your family and just relax.

No matter how you spend your special day make sure to have fun and do what you like. If you have the money to go out and dance the night away and that's what you want to do, do it! Enjoy yourself!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Song of the Week

I know it's only Wednesday but this song been stuck in my head all day. I think it's just the upbeat feel and the easy to remember chorus. I was in my room all day because classes were cancelled for snow so I've been listening to music all day. I've listened to this song a few times today.
